Philippine Revolutionary Currency 1898-1901

These currencies were authorized by the Malolos Congress in 1899 for the newly established República Filipina, marking a historic step toward national independence. The Malolos Congress, the legislative body of the First Philippine Republic, sought to establish a unified economy and issued its own banknotes and coins.
